gearhead_mike Posted 25/01/2026 Share Posted 25/01/2026 So I was browsing aslmotors.com last night around 11pm and found a 2019 Silverado I really wanted to bid on. Placed my bid and won but now I'm wondering when they actually process everything? Do they work weekends or am I gonna be waiting till Monday? First time doing this outside business hours lol
TruckLover88 Posted 25/01/2026 Share Posted 25/01/2026 Hey congrats on the Silverado! From my experience with ASL Motors they typically process everything during business hours Mon-Fri. I won a bid on a Saturday once and got the payment instructions Monday morning. Super smooth after that.
repo_hunter Posted 25/01/2026 Share Posted 25/01/2026 Yeah they don't process on weekends but you'll get an email first thing Monday. I've bid late night plenty of times and it always goes through fine. The system tracks everything automatically so your bid is locked in.
SandraM Posted 26/01/2026 Share Posted 26/01/2026 I had the same question when I bid on a Honda Accord at like 2am haha. Couldn't sleep and was browsing auctions. Got my payment email around 9am Monday and the whole process took like 5 days total including delivery. Really straightforward once business hours started. carlos_v Posted 26/01/2026 Share Posted 26/01/2026 The timing thing confused me at first too. I emailed office@aslmotors.com asking about weekend processing and they explained their team works Mon-Fri 9-5. But honestly once Monday hits they move fast. I've bought 3 vehicles from them now and the after-hours bidding is actually nice because there's less competition sometimes lol
DieselDan Posted 26/01/2026 Share Posted 26/01/2026 Pro tip: if you win a bid Friday night or over the weekend, you can get a head start by having your payment method ready. They usually send instructions Monday morning and if you pay right away the title process starts immediately. I was worried about the title on my first purchase but the bank cleared it right after my payment went through. The clear title arrived with the vehicle during delivery. gearhead_mike Posted 26/01/2026 Share Posted 26/01/2026 Thanks everyone! That makes sense. So basically my bid is secured and they'll reach out Monday. I was just paranoid I messed something up bidding so late. Good to know about having payment ready too.
Jenny_RN Posted 27/01/2026 Share Posted 27/01/2026 I won a 2020 Toyota RAV4 on a Sunday evening around 7pm and had the same concern. Got my email at 8:47am Monday and everything moved along perfectly. The delivery was actually faster than I expected - had the vehicle by Thursday that same week. MaxPower Posted 27/01/2026 Share Posted 27/01/2026 The automated system on aslmotors.com is pretty solid. Your bid gets timestamped and everything is tracked. I've bid at all hours and never had an issue. Weekend bids just mean you wait an extra day or two for the human processing to kick in but it's all good. offshore_fisher Posted 27/01/2026 Share Posted 27/01/2026 I bought a boat from them last month and placed my bid at like 1am on a Saturday because I work nights. Didn't hear anything till Monday but once I did everything moved quick. The whole delivery process was handled professionally and no issues with the title at all. Got all the official paperwork and the clear title delivered with my boat.
MechanicMark Posted 28/01/2026 Share Posted 28/01/2026 As someone who's inspected vehicles for friends buying from ASL Motors, I can say their system is legit. The timing thing is just because they have set business hours for processing. Your bid is secure once placed regardless of when you submit it. The condition descriptions have been accurate on every vehicle I've looked at too.
suburban_dad Posted 28/01/2026 Share Posted 28/01/2026 We bid on a 2021 Honda Odyssey for the family on a Saturday afternoon. Kids were napping and I was browsing lol. Didn't hear back till Monday morning but the whole process after that was smooth. Had our minivan delivered Wednesday. Wife was impressed with how easy it was. InvestorJake Posted 28/01/2026 Share Posted 28/01/2026 I buy for my small lot and I've placed bids at all hours. The key thing to understand is the bid closes whenever it closes but the administrative processing happens during business hours. ASL Motors has been consistent with this. Usually get my payment instructions within an hour of them opening Monday if I won over the weekend.
nightshift_nurse Posted 29/01/2026 Share Posted 29/01/2026 This thread is helpful! I work nights so I'm always browsing auctions at weird hours. Good to know the bids are secure and they just process during normal business hours. Was looking at a 2018 Ford Escape on their site earlier. ClassicCarl Posted 29/01/2026 Share Posted 29/01/2026 I've been collecting older vehicles and I always bid late at night when I can't sleep lol. Won a 2017 Mustang at 3am once. The wait till Monday was a little nerve wracking but once they reached out everything was handled professionally. The best part was not having to chase down the title. It was all handled by ASL Motors and arrived perfectly.
TinaB Posted 29/01/2026 Share Posted 29/01/2026 One thing I appreciated was when I had a question about my Sunday bid I sent an email to office@aslmotors.com Monday morning and they responded by noon. They walked me through exactly what to expect with timing. Customer service was really helpful.
truck_guy_texas Posted 30/01/2026 Share Posted 30/01/2026 Weekend bidding is actually kinda nice because you have time to research the vehicle without feeling rushed. I won a 2020 Ram 1500 on a Saturday and spent Sunday making sure I had everything ready for when they contacted me Monday. Worked out great. DieselDan Posted 30/01/2026 Share Posted 30/01/2026 Awesome! See, told you it would move fast once Monday hit. You're gonna love that Silverado. Post back after delivery and let us know how it goes!
carlos_v Posted 30/01/2026 Share Posted 30/01/2026 Congrats man! The waiting over the weekend is the hardest part haha. After that it's smooth sailing. I just bid on a 2019 Camry last night around midnight so I'll be in the same boat waiting till tomorrow.
WeekendWarrior Posted 31/01/2026 Share Posted 31/01/2026 This is good info for anyone browsing aslmotors.com on weekends. Your bid is secure, processing happens Mon-Fri during business hours, and everything moves quickly once it starts. I've done this twice now with great results both times.
